The mild heat wave sweeping over some parts of the country may abate at some places as rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at several places.
“Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Rajshahi, Pabna and Dinajpur and it may abate from some places”, said a met office bulletin.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded 38.0 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and Wednesday’s minimum temperature was 23.6 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur.
