Khanqueh-e-Shaheed (Quddsesa Sirrahul Aziz) Mia Saheb’s Maidan Khanqueh Sharif, located at 56–57, Luxmibazar in Old Dhaka, will organise a religious gathering on Friday after Maghrib prayers to mark the 1455th Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SM).
The programme will feature religious discussions, Hamd and Nat-e-Rasul (SM), a milad, doa mahfil, and akheri munazat.
The event will be conducted by the ninth Goddinashin Peer Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahamadur Rahim (Damat Barakatuhum), who is also the Mutawalli of the Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Abu Yousuf Abdullah (RA) Waqf Estate and Director of Mia Saheb’s Maidan Shah Saheb’s Bari Jame Masjid.
The programme will begin with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Haji Dr. Mohammad Istiaq Sazzadur Rahman, while Hafez Faruk and Hafez Rahmatulla will lead the milad mahfil.
Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SM) has been observed at this khanqueh for more than three centuries, maintaining a tradition of respect and devotion.
Pesh Imam Maulana Mufti Abdur Rahman Belali, who also serves as khatib of Shah Saheb’s Bari Jame Masjid, along with other Islamic scholars, will address the gathering. Another milad mahfil will be held after Isha prayers, conducted by Alhaj Syed Mohammad Barkatullah Badruddin and Haji Dr. Mohammad Istiaq Sazzadur Rahman.
Following the prayers, tabarruk will be distributed among devotees. Programme convener Saiyed Taiyab Morshed Araf has invited all to attend, according to a press release.
