Two additional trains of the metro rail will startoperation at 7.10am and 7.20am from today from the Uttara station tofacilitate teachers and students of different educational institutions withthe commuter service.
The authorities came up with the extended service so that students andteachers can avail the service as the educational institutions usually openat 8am.
The metro rail authorities, however, decided to make the extended servicesavailable only for the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Pass or Rapid Pass holders (permanent pass), MRT Line officials said.
Currently, the metro rail service is available between 7.30am and 11.30am on Agargaon-Motijheel route.
