Met office predicts dry weather

The met office on Thursday predicted the weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 9 am, reports BSS.

Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to Friday morning, said a met office bulletin issued here on Thursday morning. Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Tangail, Rangamati and Naogaon and it may continue at places, said the bulletin. However, night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. 

As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted night temperature may fall further. The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded 29.8 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Chattogram division, while Thursday’s minimum temperature is 06.0 degree Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet division. The sun sets at 5:38 pm on Thursday and rises at 6:42 am on Friday in the capital.
