The Half Yearly Business Conference - 2019 of Mercantile Bank Limited was held at Le Meridien, Dhaka on Saturday.
The heads of the Bank’s 139 branches and head office divisions participated in the conference. Morshed Alam M.P., chairman of the Board of Directors was present as the chief guest in the conference presided over by Managing Director & CEO Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, said a press release. Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun) & Mohd. Selim, vice chairmen; Shahidul Ahsan, chairman, Executive Committee; M. Amanullah, chairman, Mercantile Bank Foundation; A.K.M. Shaheed Reza, Md. Nasiruddin Choudhury & M A Khan Belal, directors; were present in the conference as special guests.
Bank’s chairman thanked the heads of branches and divisions for their sincere efforts to reach the organizational goals for last 6 months. He highlighted the action plans to achieve business target for upcoming months of the year.
Bank’s Md & CEO emphasized on ensuring modern and technology based banking services to the customers.
He delivered the guidelines to the heads of the branches and divisions reaching the poor and farmers with banking services to establish Mercantile Bank as an ‘Alokito Bank’.
AMD Mati Ul Hasan, DMDs Gaus-Ul-Wara Md. Mortaza, Md. Zakir Hossain and Adil Raihan were also present along with other senior executives and officers of the Bank.
