Mercantile Bank Limited donated Tk.5.00 lac to the Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC) as part of Corporate Social Responsibility of the Bank.
Bank’s Managing Director & CEO Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury handed over the cheque to SWAC Chairperson Subarna Chakma on Monday at the Bank’s Head Office. A.K.M. Shaheed Reza, Chairman of Mercantile Bank Foundation joined virtually to preside over the program.
Md. Anwarul Haque, Chairman, Executive Committee and Risk Management Committee and M A Khan Belal, Chairman, Mercantile Bank Securities Ltd. were connected virtually.
Mati Ul Hasan, AMD, Gaus-Ul-Wara Md. Mortaza, Md. Zakir Hossain, Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed and Hasne Alam, DMDs of MBL along with SWAC Secretary Sabrina Hossain, Treasurer Syeda Shamima Akther were also present with other senior officials from both the organizations.
