A memorial meeting on deceased of Chuadanga was held at Chuadanga Press Club on Saturday.
The late journalists are -- Atiar Rahman, Mohammad Ali, Daud Hossain, AKM Musa, Firoz Khan, Wasiqur Rahman Joarder Belal, Saiful Islam Pinu, Roni and Mokbular Rahman.
The meeting was presided over by Sardar Al Amin, President of the Club. Razib Hasan Kochi, General Secretary of the Club, Ajad Malita, Editor of Daily Paschimanchal and Nazmul Hoque Swapon, Chief Editor of Somoyer Samikoron addressed the meeting.
Journalists Abul Hashem, Hossain Malik, Shah Alam Sony, Rofiqul Islam and Samsul Alam took part in discussion and dwelt on the life and activities of the late journalists.
These speakers urged the departments concerned to extend financial help to the family members of the late journalists. Mofti Zahid Hasan conducted a Doa Mohfil seeking divine blessings for the departed souls.
