Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) held a meeting with stakeholders to establish good governance for implementation of National Sanitation Strategy Action Plan (2022-23).
The treasurer of the university Professor Dr Kamal was present as the chief guest in the meeting held in the conference room of the administrative building of the university on Wednesday morning. Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries Professor Dr Mohammad Nurul Abshar Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology Professor Dr Ashraf Ali Biswas, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Professor Dr Mohammad Lutfur Rahman and Director of IQAC Professor Dr Gauz Mia. IQAC Additional Director and Focal Point of National Correctional Strategy Committee Associate Professor Dr Kaushar-ul-Alam presided over. University Registrar Mirza Farooq Imam delivered the welcome address.
Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Focal Point Professor Dr Mohammad Lutfur Rahman presented the main article on Service Commitment and Citizen Charter, University Proctor and Focal Point Professor of Grievance Committee Dr Mohammad Mezbah Uddin and Right to Information discussed about grievance mechanism. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Director of Public Relations and Publication Department and Focal Point of Information Rights Committee, discussed the matter. Representatives of civil society, journalists, agriculturists, nutritionists, entrepreneurs and CVASU alumni from various organizations participated in the event.
