Md. Moniruzzaman has arrived in Ishwardi, Pabna, as the new Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Municipal Administrator. Previously, he served as the UNO of Bholahat Upazila in Chapainawabganj. He replaces the former UNO, Subir Kumar Das, who has been promoted to Additional Deputy Commissioner.
Moniruzzaman reached his new workplace on Thursday night, but his official duties will commence from Sunday. The information was confirmed by acting UNO and Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Ishwardi, Md. Asaduzzaman Sarker.
Upon his arrival at the Ishwardi Upazila Parishad premises, the new UNO was welcomed with a bouquet by the acting UNO. Officials and staff from both the upazila and municipal administration were present during the reception to greet the newly appointed administrator.
