Original story: ‘X-Men’writer David Hayter says that Marvel Studios is developing a reboot of ‘Daredevil’. Daredevil is the famed ‘Man Without Fear’ from Marvel Comics, created in 1964 by Stan Lee and Bill Everett. As a child, Matt Murdock was blinded in an accident by a mysterious chemical spill, which heightened his other senses, giving him a form of radar. As an adult, Murdock is a lawyer by day and a vigilante by night, wearing his signature red suit with a horned mask, going by the name of ‘Daredevil’.

In 2003, Ben Affleck starred as ‘Daredevil’ in his first solo film, alongside Jennifer Garner, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Colin Farrell. In 2015 Daredevil was adapted for TV in the Netflix series starring Charlie Cox as the titular hero. The show lasted for three seasons before being canceled, leaving the character in limbo since 2018. Rumours have swirled that Cox's Matt Murdock would appear in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, but thus far there's been no official word on whether that will happen or not.

While speaking at MCM London Comic Con (via Small Screen) a few weeks ago, ‘X-Men’ writer David Hayter was asked what MCU character he'd like to take on if he were welcomed back to Marvel and he replied that it would be ‘Daredevil’, stating plainly that "they're doing a reboot of Daredevil."      -Screen Rant
