Mayor Ikramul Haque Titu inaugurated the construction work of new drainage system construction at a cost of Taka 1 crore in Ward 4 of Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC).
The mayor inaugurated the construction of the RCC pipe drain from Sankipara Cinema Hall to SA Sarkar Road on Friday afternoon as part of the civic service improvement project including road, drain and infrastructure development. At the time, the mayor said, our vision is towards development. We continue our efforts to build a sustainable and modern city. Development of various infrastructures including roads and drains is underway in all the cities.
When these works are completed, the city dwellers will be able to notice visible changes.
During the inauguration, panel mayor Mahbubur Rahman, councilor of wards 2 and 4, Shammi Akhter Mitu, councilor of reserved seats of wards 4, 5 and 6, assistant engineer Jiban Krishna Sarkar and others were present.
