Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Md Atiqul Islam will enjoy the rank and status of a minister. The Cabinet Division issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday.
Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton and Khulna City Corporation Mayor Talukder Abdul Khalek will get the rank and status of a state minister. The decision took immediate effect, the gazette said.
