Tara Devi Foundation, a non-government organisation, distributed12000 masks, 10000 leaflets,hand sanitisers and 5, 000 posters among the people in Chuadanga. Moreover, the organisation set up water supply basins for washing hands in four upazilas ofChuadanga district to combat coronavirus.
Tara Devi Foundation initiated the programme in consultation with DC,Police Super, Civil Surgeon and public representatives. According to press release of Tara Devi Foundation, at least 10,000 leaflets were distributed among people. At least 12, 000 masks werealso given to the different professionals including children and women of the district.
A total of twobasins have been set up at different points of the district for washing hands using water and soap. Over 20kgs of bleaching powder was sprayedin the drains in the district town and villages Dingadah, Hanurbaradi, Makhaldanga, Belgasi and Hatikatato prevent the attack from coronavirus.
