Mass vaccination has started in 387 centers in Kishoreganj district on Saturday. Kishoreganj Civil Surgeon Dr Md Mujibur Rahman and Kishoreganj Municipality Mayor Parvez Mia inaugurated the vaccination program.
1 No. Ward Councilor Ismail Hossain Edu, District Mohila Awami League General Secretary Bilkis Begum, District Student League President Anwar Hossain Mollah Sumon, its General Secretary Foyez Oman Khan and others were also present.
The vaccination program has been started in 3 centers in each of the 108 unions of the district and in 9 centers in each of the 8 municipalities. In the first phase, senior citizens, women and those suffering from incurable diseases will be vaccinated.
Every day 200 people will be vaccinated at the counter center for the next 4 days.
Full vaccination will start from next 14th August.
