Mashrafe sore at squad selection

Shortly after the tour of Sri Lanka was postponed, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced that an ODI series would be organized by forming three teams among themselves.

However, former skipper Mashrafe bin Mortaza was not included in the series as he is not fit to play now, said chief selector Minhazul Abedin Nannu.

However, the BCB did not try to get Mashrafe to play this series. Mashrafe expressed displeasure that he was not even properly contacted. A source close to Mashrafe informed the media on Sunday.

Mashrafe has been fighting against Corona for 24 days a month after being infected with Covid-19. However, even though he was healthy, no one from BCB asked about him. The cricketers have started practicing, but no one has even called him to ask if he will practice. A week before the start of the series, he was asked by phone if he would play. As a result, there was no time for Mashrafe to prepare.

The source said, "Mashrafe was informed about the ODI series yesterday. But you see, the BCB called 40 cricketers and made them practice but Mashrafe was not informed.

The BCB did not take any action for his swift return. So tell me how he will play? However, it is certain that he will play in the Corporate T20 League. ’

However, even if Mashrafe does not play in the BCB ODI series, he will return to the cricket field again with the Corporate T20 League. He will be seen again in 22 yards of cricket.
