Hygiene practices are indispensable in curbing the spread of coronavirus or COVID-19 and Bangladesh too is now contending with adverse effects of this global pandemic. During this public health crisis, hand sanitizer and hand-wash related products have seen an unprecedented growth in demand as washing/sanitizing hands is a critical precautionary measure in the fight against COVID-19 advocated by WHO and IEDCR.

At this time when the nation is going through the COVID 19 crisis, for supporting the needs of health and hygiene, Marico Bangladesh has launched Mediker SafeLife hand sanitizer and hand-wash range of products. With the launch of Mediker SafeLife Marico is bringing Mediker’s international expertise in care and protection to Bangladesh.

As a responsible corporate citizen and for supporting consumers during the COVID 19 crisis, Marico has decided to launch Mediker SafeLife range with discounted MRPs and if any profit is generated from the sales of Mediker SafeLife range of products for the period of six months that will be contributed towards the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. Thus, Mediker Safelife products will operate on NO PROFIT basis for a period of six months.

Regarding the launch, Marico’s Managing Director, Ashish Goupal said “Marico believes in a nation first approach and that’s why for supporting the Government’s efforts during this hour of crisis, we are launching our international range of Mediker Safelife health & hygiene products in Bangladesh on a NO PROFIT basis for a period of six months. We believe that as a responsible corporate this is the least, we can do to help consumers protect themselves during the COVID 19 crisis.

During this six-month period, if any profit is generated from the sales of our Mediker SafeLife range of products we will contribute the same towards the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.”
