A court has sentenced one person to life imprisonment for killing his younger brother in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district.
Additional district and session judge Md. Rabiul Islam delivered the verdict yesterday in absence of the convict identifying Suffian Hoque.
The court also fined him Tk. 10,000, in default; he will have to suffer six more months in prison.

According to the prosecution, the convicted Hoque, 40, hailed from of Parkalupur village at Durlavpur
union of Shibganj, was locked in enmity with his younger brother Mominul Islam over the construction of a toilet.
