Body of an unidentified man recovered from Polashi intersection area of Shahbagh in the capital on Monday.
Later, he was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in unconscious state where doctor declared him dead.
Quoting locals, police said the man was found unconscious on the road in the area and taken to DMCH.
Inspector of DMCH Police Camp Mohammad Bachchu Miah said the body was kept to morgue for autopsy.
