A man died after being electrocuted in Dhunat upazila of the district Tuesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Rahim Box, 65, a resident of Khaduli village of the upazila.
Police said Rahim Box was electrocuted at a house while repairing a tube well at the village around 12:30pm. He died on the spot. Another one was injured at that time. He was admitted to Dhunat Upazila Health Complex. Later he was sent to Dhaka.
Officer-in-Charge of Dhunat Police Station Saikot Hasan confirmed the matter.
