One person was killed and two others were injured as a private car fell into Turagriverat Moragang of Ashulia in Savaron Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Bhola Das, 36, son of late Teela Das, hailed from Tayabpur area of Ashulia. He was a businessman.
Md. Ziaulislam, Inspector (Investigation) of Ashulia police station, confirmed the matter to the Bangladesh Post.
ZiaulIslam said, “The incident took place in the area around 11:00 pm on Saturday night. Bhola Dash along with others was returning home from Dhaka's Uttara by the car.
At one stage, the driver of the car lost his control over the car fell into Turagriver. Two passengers of car managed to come out of the car but Bhola was trapped inside. He died as he could not come out of the car.”
The Inspector further said, “Police went to the spot soon after the incident and started rescue operation. They recovered Bhola's body from the car.”
