In a police raid in Mithamain of Kishoreganj, one person named Gopal Robidas was arrested with 8 liters of distilled liquor, 40 liters of brewing equipment and a silver perforated bottle used for making liquor. He was arrested from Kanchanpur area of Kewarjor Union under Mithamain Upazila of the district on Sunday (July 31) morning.
Detained Gopal Robidas (52) son of Late Mohit Robidas of Muchibari in Kanchanpur village under Mithamin upazila.
Mithamain Police Station Officer-in-Charge Kalindra Nath Goldar said that based on secret information, I came to know that Gopal Robidas was selling distilled liquor at the Muchibari of Kanchanpur village. He was arrested with 8 liters of distilled liquor, 40 liters of brewing equipment and a silver perforated bottle used for brewing. A case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act, 2018. He has been handed over to the court.
