National Film Award-winning actor Zakia Bari Mamo and Farhan Ahmed Jovan will share the screen once again in a unique tele-drama directed by Rifat Adnan Papon.
The tele-drama titled ‘Failtus’, written by Shafiqur Rahman Shantnu, casts Mamo and Jovan in the lead roles.
The shooting of the tele-drama has already been completed.
This is the first time Mamo has worked with Papon.
“I really do not involve myself in any project if the story is not to my liking. I really liked the story of this tele-drama. It was my first project under Papon’s direction. He really put a lot of effort in directing this. Jovan and I also tried to work accordingly. I hope the viewers will like this tele-drama,” said Mamo.
This is the second time Jovan has shared the screen Mamo.
“Earlier, Mamo and I shared the screen in Sarder Rokon’s tele-drama ‘Tui Thekey Tumi’. Mamo is a versatile actor and I really enjoy working with her. Papon tried to direct this drama with a lot of care. I am optimistic that the drama will get the attention of the viewers,” said Jovan.
‘Failtus’ will be aired on a private TV channel in the upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, said Papon.
