Mamo garners renown in ‘Nilu’

Just as Mamo has a keen interest in different types of stories, she is also keen to blend in with any challenging character. From her commitment to acting as a National Film Award winning actress, Mamo often acted in dramas, films and short films of different types to create awareness among the people of the society. Just like the short film 'Nilu'. 

The film is based on the premise that women's self-defense training is essential in today's social context. Mamo has dramaed the title role in it. In it, Mamo has never been seen in such an action-packed female role before. The film 'Nilu' is written and directed by Vicky Jahed. Ever since the film was released on YouTube, Mamo has been acclaimed for her role as Nilu. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mamo said, “Many people have been congratulating me since the film was released. This was my first job with Vicky Jahed. In fact, a lot of work depends on the teamwork between the artist and the director. So the whole credit of Nilu belongs to the whole team of Nilu. Thank you so much, gratitude to the whole team.”

Meanwhile, Mamo has already completed the work of the drama ‘Mon Dorja’ under the direction of Sagar Jahan. Mosharraf Karim is opposite her. Mamo won the National Film Award for her debut film. 

She was later awarded this award from various prestigious organizations of the country. Later, Mamo was acclaimed for her performances in Shihab Shaheen's 'Chhuye Dile Mon' and Arun Chowdhury's 'Altabanu'. Mamo also came into the discussion after playing the role of a journalist in Raihan Rafi's ‘Dahon’. Last Eid, she was also acclaimed for her performances in other dramas. In other words, working on both the small screen and the big screen, Mamo is continuously garnering praise.
