On the occasion of International Literacy Day, Deputy Commissioner Dr KM Kamruzzaman Selim visited Krishtapur village on Tuesday afternoon and as a gift he handed over the keys of the disaster-tolerant house to Makshed’s wife. Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Abdullah-al-Mamun was present on the occasion. Chairman of Salander Union Parishad Mahbubur Alam Mukul and Deputy Commissioner Makshed Ali assured necessary assistance in paving the graveyard.

Last year, Thakurgaon Deputy Commissioner Dr KM Kamruzzaman Selim saw the dilapidated condition of his house and directed the Sadar Upazila Executive Officer of Thakurgaon district to provide a new house.
