Mahiya Mahi is a prominent actor of Dhallywood but recently there hasn’t been any new releases featuring her. Now she has returned to her audience with the movie ‘Abatar’ directed by Mahmud Hasan Sikder. If all goes well then the film is to release on July 19.
Other than Mahi, Amin Khan is also playing an important role in the film. The film focuses on some of the societal flaws and irregularities like drug and militancy. Mahi and Amin Khan will be seen protesting against these issues in the film.
The director himself has written the story and screenplay. The newcomer, JH Rousseau has played opposite to Mahi. Mahi will be seen as Amin Khan's younger sister. Many other people like Misha Saudagar, Raisul Islam Asad, Shiva Sanu, Subrata, Sushmita Sinha, Artist Sarkar Apu and Milon Bhatta are among other actors.
It is to be mentioned that the shooting of the film had started in December 2017 and ended in December 2018. The film got its release from the censor board in March of this year and is awaiting release.
Mahiya Mahi was welcomed as the ‘new Dhallywood sensation’ when she made her debut in 2012 through the commercially successful film ‘Bhalobashar Rong’. She also earned plaudits playing important roles in ‘Bhalobasa Aj Kal’, ‘Poramon’, ‘Tobuo Bhalobasi’, ‘Desh: The Leader’, ‘Big Brother’, ‘Krishnapakkha’ and others.
