The cinema industry of Dhaka is not faring well. The last few years has seen a drop in cinema production. The producers complain that they aren’t getting proper revenues from the cinema halls. Many complain that even if there is a good audience the hall owners don’t pay the money regularly.
On the other hand, there are a number of hall owners who say that the local cinemas aren’t getting good audience. Although there is no proof of this being the truth rather the audiences complain that the environment of the cinema halls is not good.
Even when such complains exist, director Mostafizur Rahman is finishing up the last portion of ‘Ananda Asru’. Mahiya Mahi has stood in front of a camera after a long time through this film and Saimon Sadik is acting opposite to her.
Mahiya Mahi has performed in the song by Radharaman titled ‘Bhramar Koiyo Giya’. According to the director, J K Mazlish has remade the song by Radharaman Dutta and the voice has been given by Kheya while Shahiduzzaman is acting as the villain in the film.
It is to be mentioned that ‘Ananda Asru’ had previously been released in 1997 by Shibly Sadik which starred Salman Shah and Shabnur. Although there is a similarity in the title there is no such likeness in the story which has been ensured by director Manik.
