Dhallywood popular actress Mahiya Mahi to star opposite actor Abdun Noor Shajal for the second time in Iftekhar Chowdhury’s upcoming film titled ‘Driver’. In 2016, they were first pair up in director Badiul Alam Khokon’s film titled 'Harjit'.
However, the film ‘Harjit’ was under the production company of Tiger Media, which was busy working on another film titled 'Bhalo Theko' at that time and the shooting of film 'Harjit' stopped in the middle. The director of the film Badiul Alam Khokon hired a new producer last year to complete the film but the uncertainty is still hanging on the fate of 'Harjit'.

Before the release of their first film, the duo is coming with another film titled ‘Driver’ which will start from November 1.
Besides Shajal, Mahi, Mosharraf Karim will also feature in the web film ‘Driver’. Live streaming app Bioscope is going to produce it.
After six long years, Mahiya Mahi is going to work with Iftekhar again. Before the actress has done two films with the director titled 'Agni', 'Agni 2' and got popularity overnight.
Regarding the context Mahi said, 'Iftekhar Chowdhury is the most successful film director of my career and I’m always ready to work with him. However, the new film is not as full of action as before, rather than social drama. The production team is currently preparing to start shooting the film’
Actor Shajal said, “There is a ban from the production company to give details about this film. However, I can say that this is going to be a very good story and I hope everyone will like it.
