Dhallywood popular actress Mahiya Mahi and actor Ziaul Roshan starrer upcoming film titled ‘Ashirbad’ directed by Mustafizur Rahman Manik is going to the theaters after Eid-ul-Fitr. For the first time the duo will be seen together in this film. It has already got clearance from Bangladesh Film Censor Board without any cuts.
The story revolves around the student politics from seventies till now and will also showcase the liberation war and the current situation with few steps. Mahi can be seen in both young and old form in the film.
Regarding the context director Mustafizur Rahman Manik said, “Since it is a government grant film, we will bring it to the theaters gradually. The producer wants the film to be released after Eid. We are working accordingly’.
Besides producing the film, Tahera Ferdous Jennifer has written the story and screenplay and Abdullah Zahir Babu has written then dialogues. Kazi Hayat, Rehana Jolie, Rebecca, Simanta and others have also acted in the film. The film received a government grant in the fiscal year 2019-20.
