Dhallywood popular star Mahiya Mahi has returned to shooting after performing Umrah with her husband Rakib Sarkar in Saudi Arabia a few days ago.
It is learnt that the actress will start shooting on December 17 in Chayanika Chowdhury's web film, titled ‘Kagojer Biye’, which also features Emon. Earlier, they had teamed up for a web film titled 'Mafia'. However, it has not been released yet.
The screenplay of ‘Kagojer Biye’ has been written by Komol Chowdhury. The shooting will take place at Dhamrai near Dhaka.
Regarding the context, Mahi said, 'I had signed the contract with Chayanika Didi for a long time. I will take part in the shooting according to the schedule given’.
On the other hand recently both the actors Emon and Mahiya Mahi were subject to controversy on social media, when an old phone conversation between both the actors and former State Minister for Information, Murad Hasan was leaked online. However, both the actors have overcome that trauma, and have started shooting.
About the web film director Chayanika Chowdhury said, “The web film will star Mahiya Mahi, DA Tayeb and Emon together. We will start the shooting of the web-film from December 17 across various locations of Dhaka."
