State Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali MP visited the ongoing development work at Sylhet Osmani International Airport. During his visit to Sylhet today, he inspected the terminal building, control tower, administrative building, cargo building and runway under construction at Osmani Airport. It may be noted that various development works worth about Tk 2,700 crore are underway at Sylhet Osmani International Airport. After completion of the development works, international quality services will be ensured for all passengers using this airport.
During the visit, the State Minister was briefed about the various aspects of the ongoing development work. At this time, he gave instructions to the project manager to complete the development work within the specified time by working quickly while maintaining the quality standards. Project Director Shah Zulfikar Haider, Sylhet Airport Manager Hafiz Uddin Ahmed along with project officials were present during the visit.
