Magura Technical Training Center (TTC) has trained 30,359 expatriates in 7 years on safe migration and to become skilled work force abroad.
The Acting Principal of Magura Technical Training Center (TTC) Mohammad Shahidul Islam gave this information on Tuesday during the 3-day orientation workshop in Magura.
The three-day orientation workshop started on Tuesday noon at the TTC auditorium. Where 170 people going abroad participated. TTC Principal inaugurated the workshop. General secretary of Magura Press Club Shamim Khan, TTC trainer Rubel Hasan, Co-ordinator Nazmul Hossain spoke in the workshop.
It was informed at the workshop that 540 people are currently undergoing training in 11 courses at this technical training center. Those who are participating in various duration courses ranging from three months including Housekeeping, Automechanics, Computer Operation, Swing Machine Operation, Dress Making, Consumer Electronics, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Machine Tools Operation, Driving with Automechanics, Motor Driving with Basic Maintenance, Japanese Language Training.
This activity of TTC in Magura has been going on since 2016. Already more than 300 women are working in different countries at government expense after receiving free training in housekeeping from this center.
Besides, a significant number of men and women are working as skilled workers in various countries including Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Japan, Korea after training in other subjects including driving.
Apart from these scheduled courses, a three-day short orientation workshop is conducted every month by bringing various people going abroad to the training center of TTC. From visa processing to traveling, after traveling abroad, the order and security of the country during the stay, use of legitimate financial institutions including banks as a medium for sending money to the country, compliance with proper conduct rules to protect the country's reputation are informed. So that every expatriate can establish himself as a safe immigrant abroad.
