A Madrasa teacher was arrested on charge of raping a third grade madrasa girl in Jashore on Friday night. The arrestee was identified as Sheik Liaquat Ali,40 son of late Yusuf Moral of Benekhari village in Sharsha Upazila of Jashore district . The student's mother said Liaquat Ali a teacher of the Benkhari Forkania Madrasa in Sharsha Upazila on Thursday tried to rape my daughter who shouted, then the nearby people rushed and rescued her, but Liaquat fled from the spot.
Later victim’s mother filed a case against Sheik Liaquat Ali at the Sharsha police station. Case No. 22. Police arrested Sheik Liaquat Ali on Friday night after receiving a case. In this regard, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sharsha Police Station Ataur Rahman said that a case had been filed against teacher Sheik Liaquat Ali in connection with rape. The detainee was sent to jail by the court on Saturday noon.
