Madar Bux remembered

Speakers at a function have said that Bangladesh has been inflicted with land-pirates and corrupt people and the present politics of the country is being controlled by the black moneyed people so the young generations of the country should be vocal to resist them. 

The function was held on the memorial meeting on the 54th death anniversary of renowned leader Mather Baux at Rajshahi Press Club premises on Wednesday afternoon

Mather Baux is also one of the main architects among the founders of Rajshahi University.  

Speakers at the function further mentioned it is being delayed to build a golden-Bengal envisioned by Bangabandhu due to malicious activities of the corrupts and the looters.  People of the country never expected such corrupt, malicious practices. They demanded to stop these activities and called upon all youngsters of the country to stand against the land-pirates and corrupt people.  

Presided over by Saidur Rahman, President of Rajshahi Press Club, the function was conducted by Aslam Ud-dowla, General Secretary of the club while life Member of Rajshahi Press Club, Freedom fighter Prasanta Kumar Saha attended as the chief guest and was addressed and attended, among others, by renowned Economist Professor Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Engineer Shamsul Alam, Senior Journalist Golam Sawar, former President of RCCI Alhaj Abu Bakar, Freedom fighter Shahjahan Ali Borjahan, Salah Uddin Mintu, Advocate Hossain Ali Peara, Advocate Siraji Shaokat Salehin Elen, Journalist Rashed Ibne Obaid Ripon, Waliur Rahman Babu, Dr. Roknuzzaman Ripon, Nure Islam Milon, Asadul Haque Dukhu, Amanullah Aman, Khoknuzzaman Masud, Rakibul Hasan Shuvo and Alamin Hossain.
