Loko Natyadal (Banani) staged its much-acclaimed play ‘Sonai Madhab’ yesterday at 6:00pm at Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Mahila Samiti in the capital’s Baily Road. The play was brought to the stage as a part of the four day celebration programme, organised by the troupe on the occasion of the 38th founding anniversary.

‘Sonai Madhab’ weaves a tale of romantic tragedy between Sonai and Madhab, the leading characters in the play. The play is a dramatic depiction that weaves woes, agonies and dilemmas of women in a traditional narrative way.
