Mirsarai Upazila Livestock Department Veterinary Hospital of Chittagong has organized ‘Livestock Exhibition 2022’ at the Upazila Stadium. Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, addressed the inaugural and closing ceremonies of the Livestock Exhibition in collaboration with the Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) on Wednesday.
Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Shyamal Chandra Poddar spoke on the topic of Livestock Exhibition '2022' conducted by Dr. Jayita Basu, Veterinary Surgeon of Upazila Livestock Department and presided over by Mirsarai Upazila Executive Officer Minhazur Rahman. Also present as special guests were Upazila Parishad Chairman Jasim Uddin, Vice Chairman M Alauddin, Women Vice Chairman Ismat Ara Fensi, Upazila Awami League President Jahangir Kabir Chowdhury, General Secretary AKM Jahangir Bhuiyan and chairmen of various Union Parishads.
Exhibition 2022 showcases bulls weighing 1 (one) ton, high yielding Holstein Friesian cows and Jersey cows, advanced and indigenous breeds of goats and sheep, hens, chickens, golden hens, German shepherd dogs, carpet dogs, domesticated cows, partridges. , Quail and improved breeds of pigeons, yogurt, milk, ghee-butter, cheese sweets, a variety of delicious foods made from milk and meat, improved livestock technology, biogas and bird food.
