The fair of Livestock exhibition was held under the initiative of Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) Directorate of Animal Resources, Ministry of Fisheries and Animal Resources organized by Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital in Tarashe, Sirajganj.
There are 30 stalls of different species of animals in the fair. Livestock Exhibition 2023 Inaugural and Closing Ceremony held at Pranisampad Hospital premises. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Majbaul Karim presided over the ceremony. Sirajganj 3 Constituency MP Professor Dr. Abdul Aziz inaugurated the Livestock Exhibition Fair on Saturday, February 25 morning.
Upazila Chairman Principal Moniruzzaman Moni, Assistant Commissioner Land Noor Tasmin Urmi, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Sanjit Karmakar, Upazila Vice Chairperson Anwar Hossain Khan, Upazila Women Vice Chairperson Morjina Islam, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Shafiul Alam were present as special guests.
A total of 30 stalls participated in the day-long exhibition.
At this time different types of domestic and foreign birds, Friesian breed of cows, bulls, cows, buffaloes, horses, goats, sheep, poultry are displayed. At the end of the event, the best participating stalls were awarded.
