The Junior Chamber of Commerce (JCI) Dhaka Cosmopolitan is hosting a live yoga session titled “Relax, Refresh, Recharge” for the pandemic.

The sessions, every Saturday at 6,30pm, are conducted by Navila Mushtaque – a globally certified yoga trainer. It is broadcast live on JCI Dhaka Cosmopolitan Facebook page.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, it is recommended to do physical activity regularly for at least 30 minutes for mental and physical well- being.

There is one modality of physical activity, amongst a few, which can be performed and recommended even in these unprecedented and challenging times, to stay active at home, that is yoga.  A consistent yoga practice can be a means to boost immunity, calm the mind, develop muscle flexibility, manage stress and improve overall health.

“This initiative is relevant in today’s day and age- especially in context of our modern lifestyle and aims to promote United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3: Good health & Wellbeing,” the JCI said in a statement.
