Liton Das, the most dependable batter for Bangladesh at this moment said he has no worry about his recent form, that doesn't complement the way he was playing for the last two years.
Apart from T20 version, Liton didn't hit any half-century in Test or ODI in this year when he was expected to take his game to another level.
In his only match for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in his first stint in IPL, he also didn't do anything noteworthy. Rather he fumbled behind the wicket, missing catches and stumping chances.
"You can't be on top of your game every day. It's quite impossible," Liton said after being the Kool-BSPA sports person of the year-2022.
"You will play well one day and another day, you may have a bad day. So I am not worried. I will keep practicing to play well."
Bangladesh's next assignment is against Afghanistan as the two sides meet for a one-off Test, beginning June 14. Liton said the only target at this moment is to win the Test.
"We'll start our camp for the Test tomorrow. We lost the Test match to Afghanistan last time when we played against them. Now the only target is to win. In fact we always play to win."
About the award, which was given by the Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA), the largest and oldest organization of the country's sports journalists, Liton said such sort of accolade would inspire the sportsperson to get better and hone their skill every day.
"Really feel good. It will be good if I get such sort of award regularly. So I have to perform well regularly. This kind of award will inspire the sportsperson to get perform better," he added.
