According to local and victim's family sources, there is a shop with a villager Gaffar's house in Ghorapa Shinglapara village of Panchbobi upazila. Gaffar and his wife go to attend a wedding party. When the child went to buy food of Tk 5/- from that shop, Gaffar’s son Rabiul Islam lured the child into the house behind the shop and raped her with a towel on her face and left her with bloody wounds.
When the child went to her mother in a bloody state and told the incident, the family members rushed to her and took her to Panchbibi Upazila Health Complex. When her condition worsened, she was admitted to JOypurharhat Modernized Hospital. When her condition was further deteriorated, she was rushed to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. When it was known in the area, Robiul Islam tactfully escaped.
