Police arrested a listed drug trader with phensedyl and yaba tablets from Borkolasho area under Dakkhin Surma police station in Sylhet on Thursday night. The detainee was identified as Alomgir Hussain, 31, son of Bachhu Miah of Moglobazar area in Sylhet.
Police sources said that on information, a team police from detective branch (DB) of police raided the Joynal Miah colony in Borkolasho area on Thursday night and arrested him along with 100 pieces yaba tablets and 10 bottles of liquor. Later, he was handed over to the Dakkhin Surma police station. A case was filed in this connection.
