A young farmer died in lightning strike at Sreerampur village under Bagharpara upazila in Jashore on Saturday. The victim was identified as M Sabuj Mollah of Sreerampur village.
Besides, another wounded youth named Al Amin of Dohakola village is undergoing treatment at the Bagharpara Upazila Health Complex, said Dr Naveed, medical officer of the health complex.
Bablu Kumar Saha, chairman of Narikelbaria union council, said that lightning struck the two while they were working at a field during rain on Saturday.
