Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country, reports BSS.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to a met office release here on Monday. The highest temperature in the country on Sunday was recorded 35.2 degrees Celsius at places in Khulna and Jashore while the lowest temperature was recorded 23 degrees Celsius at Tetulia. Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours until 6 am on Monday was recorded 123 millimeters (mm) at Nikli. The sun sets at 5.55pm on Monday and rises at 5.48am today in the capital.
