Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at many places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions.
A few places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions may witness rainfall in the 24 hours commencing from 9am on Friday, said a press release.
Besides, moderately heavy to heavy rains are likely at places over the country. Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, as per the Met office bulletin.
Country's maximum temperature on Thursday was 36.2 degree Celsius at Rajshahi while minimum temperature on Friday was 33.5 degree Celsius at Kumarkhali, added the press release.
Maximum rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am on Friday was recorded by 67 millimeters at Sylhet.
Friday's sunset was at 6:43pm and Saturday's sunrise will be at 5:11am.
