In Kishoreganj district, 24 new corona infected persons were identified in the district on Saturday. Of them 19 are from Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila, 1 from Hossainpur Upazila, 2 from Pakundia Upazila and 2 from Nikli Upazila.
A total of 145 corona infected have been identified in Kishoreganj Sadar upazila. 4 of them died. Besides, 33 people have recovered. The latest report received in broad daylight on Saturday identified 19 corona positive persons in one day in the upazila.
To date, a total of 2018 samples have been collected from the upazila for testing. Of which 145 people have been identified as corona positive and four of them died. Besides, a total of 33 people have recovered so far. The recovery rate is about 23 percent.
Relevant sources said that out of 19 people identified as new corona infected, 13 were men and 6 were women. Of them LGED Executive Engineer AKM Amiruzzaman is one.
