Lalmonirhat office of Local Government Engineering Department has finished constructing a road in Patgram area of Lamonirhat at a cost of Tk 19 million.
Executive Engineer and Patgram Upazila Engineer Mahbub Alam supervised the construction work. Under the supervision of Lalmonirhat LGED, officials and employees of Lalmonirhat LGED including Executive Engineer and Patgram Upazila Engineer Mahbub Alam inspected the construction of the road from Sarkar Hat to Barovita area in Lalmonirhat.
According to local sources, Ashraf Ali Khan, Executive Engineer of Lalmonirhat LGED, Patgram upazila engineer and contractors were there to inspect the work from the start. As a result, the quality of the work of the road work is up to the mark.
Ashraf Ali Khan, Executive Engineer of Lalmonirhat LGED said Patgram upazila engineer was asked to supervise the work as per the estimate given by the contractors. He himself also paid visit to the area along with other officials, he added.
“Being instructed by higher authority, the work was done by the contractors as per the rules”, said Mahbub Alam, Executive Engineer and Patgram Upazila Engineer.
