Director General of Local Government Division (LGD) Md Mahmudul Hasan is going to investigate the alleged irregularities of Chattogram WASA on Saturday.
He on Saturday morning will investigate and inspect the news published in various media.
The matter was confirmed in a letter signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of Local Government Division Gazi Golam on Thursday.
The letter said Director General Md Mahmudul Hasan will investigate and inspect about the news published in various media regarding Chattogram WASA under Local Government Division on Saturday.
Chief Engineer of Chattogram WASA Makshud Alam said LGD Director General will come to Chattogram WASA on Saturday. He will come to inspect about the news published in media regarding the irregularities.
Sramik Karmachari Dal, including general people, were protesting demanding the resignation of Chattogram WASA Managing Director (MD) AKM Fazlullah since the beginning of the current month. However, the WASA MD said he will not resign without government decision.
