Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd has launched 3 new Lenovo Tablet at a press conference at a restaurant in Dhaka on Tuesday.
With this, Lenovo Tab M10, Tab4 8 plus and Tab V7 would be available in Bangladesh market after two weeks, said a press release.
Sameer Varshney, head of Lenovo Tablet business for SAARC countries said, “We are very delighted to announce that we have emerged as the #1 PC and #1 Tablet company worldwide. We had huge growth in Asia Pacific region, mainly from new business wins in India, Bangladesh and neighboring countries.” “Our Tablet Business is continued to get stronger, and today we have big end customer base in Bangladesh, including government sector, pharmaceutical sector, banking industry, telecom operators and education sector,” he added. Tablet has a very interesting usage as it is mainly used in commercial business, he mentioned. Describing some interesting features of Lenovo, he said “This season, we are going to launch a machine which is very handy, can be used as a Mobile phone and has IRIS scanner, which is nothing but capturing a individual identity via retina scanning.
Today Lenovo tablet has got the widest range of machines starting from 6.95 “to 10.1” inches screen size. These machines are tested and proven in BD market since last 5 years.”
A S M Shawkat Millat, head of Lenovo Business of Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd. coordinated the whole press conference. He said, Lenovo has added a new tablet to its portfolio. The Lenovo Tab V7 Android tablet is designed for entertainment on-the-go. The tablet features a 6.9-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, Dolby audio speakers, 4G VoLTE support, 5180mAh battery, fingerprint and facial recognition. It is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Lenovo Tab V7 is available in two configurations. 3GB RAM+32GB internal storage model & 4GB RAM+64GB internal storage model. He said, “Tab 4 8 Plus is a premium 8” tablet for the whole family.
