Lenden (BD) Limited was awarded the No Objection Certificate (NOC) as the Payment System Operator (PSO) by Bangladesh Bank to establish White Label ATM and Merchant Acquirer (WLAMA) network across Bangladesh.
In a program of Bangladesh Bank on Wednesday, Lenden received its' Payment System Operator' NOC. Lenden (BD) Limited is a Fintech venture working towards advancing Financial Inclusion in Bangladesh.
Senior Officials from the Payment Systems Department (PSD) Muhammad Badiuzzaman Dider (Director), Rafeza Akther Kanta (Additional Director), Tasfiq Newaz (Joint Director), Abdullah Al Nayeem (Assistant Director) along with the chairman of the company Sajidur Rahman, Rezwan Siddiqui (Managing Director), MD Quamrul Haque (COO) were present during the NOC handover ceremony at Bangladesh Bank hosted by the Payment Systems Department.
The chairman of the company Sajidur Rahman is the former CEO of Telenor Health and a prominent figure in Bangladesh's Fintech & Startup scenario.
The company aims to be the pioneer in Bangladesh in introducing White Label ATM and Merchant Acquirer services with the vision of taking this service across the country through various touchpoints, to work towards the enhancement of financial inclusion.
