Writing a note towards parents wishing their conjugal life without quarrel, a teenage boy has reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Chhaygharia village under Akhaura upazila in Brahmanbaria district. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon.
In the suicide note, the schoolboy wrote, "None is liable for my death. I want that my father and mother lead a happy life without quarrel. They love my siblings, do not beat them. Forgive me. End- Opu."
The deceased was identified, as Golam Hossain Opu, 15, was the ninth grader at Chhaygharia High School.
According to police, at the afternoon windows and door of Opu's bedroom was found close for a long time. Later, locals entered the house and breach his room found Opu's hanging body. After that, police recovered his body.
Opu's mother Nilufa Begum said I went to my father's house after prepared lunch for my son. Later, I have heard that my son hang himself. Actually, I don’t know why he hang himself. The incident seems to me very mysterious.
Meanwhile, the body was sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy on Thursday morning.
