Boasting of a delightful selection of mouth-watering pastries, tarts, and premium blended brews, the lobby at Le Méridien Dhaka is home to the chic patisserie and Latitude 23, drawing guests to the sights, sounds, and smells of decadent treats and perfectly brewed coffee.

Taking its signature offerings a notch higher, the hotel has hosted an exciting celebration which was open for all on the International Coffee Day on Tuesday.

Rounding up a host of activities, Latitude 23 was set to welcome coffee aficionados and guests with free coffee from 4 pm to 6 pm. The guests enjoyed a 50 percent discount on bakery items from 4 pm - 6 pm and 25 percent discounts for the entire day, The special range of bakery items for this event included coffee infused cookies, cupcakes,  éclair and homemade gourmet ice cream.

Taking inspiration from global art, the master baristas were trained in the craft of latte art and showcased the same to the guests. Latte art is an innovative art form that turns brewed coffee into a canvas and results in astounding patterns which can be endless.

On this occasion, Constantinos S Gavriel, General Manager, Le Méridien Dhaka said, “Coffee being a passion of the Le Méridien’s brand around the world, we are happy to celebrate it in Dhaka with our talented baristas and cherished guests. On this fun-filled day, the guests learned latte art which they can duplicate it in their home. We feel very pleased to receive such a good response from the urban people of Dhaka city.”
